Operation
Recording video and audio at the same time
Switch on
Firstly, push the switch button to the right side. Press the power on/off button for several seconds, the red light turns on.
Record video
Some seconds later it blinks then turns green; it indicates the camera starts to record. Press power on/off button once, the red light is on while the green light off, indicating the file is saved and the camera back to standby mode.
Switch off
Press the power on/off button a little longer, the red lighter turns out, the camera shuts down.
Attention: it need some time to enter into work status every time when the camera is power on, so please do not any operation during this system busy time. The preparation time depends on the storage memory. The larger the storage memory is, the longer system time needs.
Take photo
Switch on
Firstly, push the switch button to the left side. Press the power on/off button for several seconds, the red light turns on.
Take photo
Some seconds later the red lighter blinks, the camera comes to the photo mode. Press power on/off once, the green lighter blinks once, it indicates a photo is taken and saved.
Switch off
Press the power on/off button a little longer, the red lighter turns out, the camera shuts down.
Attention: it needs some time to save the file, so please leave a litter longer time to save the file when take photo continually.
Mode switch
It will come to the photo mode if you push the switch button to left side when the camera is under record mode or standby mode.
It will come to the record mode if you push the switch button to right side when the camera is under photo mode.
Attention: The device can save the video file firstly then come to the photo mode when you switch the camera from video mode to photo mode.
Power off
There are 3 ways can switch off the device as follow:
1) Press the power on/off button for several seconds under any mode
2) No operation is made with 1 minute under standby mode
3) Press the reset button once by a clip under any mode
Attention: The device can save the file firstly then shuts down if it powers off under the record mode.
Reset
The device needs to be reset when it can’t work because of improper operation and uncertain causes. Press the reset button once by a clip, then the device powers off. Please press slightly when reset the device, otherwise the components will be damaged.
Charging
Under power off or standby mode, connect the camera to computer via USB cable and charge it. The red light keeps blinking while being charged. When the red light keeps on, it shows the device is fully charged. If the device is of low electricity, red light flashes regularly.
Attention: as the devise has built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery, so it has a memory effect. We advise in the first 5 times of usage, charge the battery fully after the battery is out of use, so that the battery can work with its max working hours perfectly.
Playback video
Connect the camera to computer via USB cable and play back video on computer. Make sure there is a playback software in the computer before connecting.
Setting time
When using the device for the first time or the time is wrong, you may reset the time as follows:
1)Connect the camera with computer
2)Create a new “ setdate.txt” file
3)Edit time format as: 2009-12-12 12:12:12
4)Copy the file to the root of the root disk of the camera
5)When starting the camera again next time, the time will be simultaneous as the time file
Attention
1)If the device is lack of battery while recording video, the system will save the video data first, then shut down automatically.
2)When taking video continually, the system will automatically generate a new video file after each operation and save it every 30 minutes, then continue to record.
3)Under a bright environment, keep camera vertical, stable and keepcertain distance from the scene you want to record in order to achieve a best effect .
4)The file being saved need some time, do not operate during the green light turning red, such as press any buttons or connect it to computer, or the file would not be saved completely even lost.
5)No operation is feasible when the memory is full, at this time the color of the light is red.
6)The time of PC recognizing the hardware is different according to its different system and configuration, so please not operate during recognizing. If the hardware can’t be recognized, please check your computer’s operation system, device drivers, USB port and the USB cable is normal, and then connect the hardware again.
